The Smart Way to Auto Follow on Twitter
Tried a Chrome extension for twitter auto follow and didn’t love it? Looking for something better? Have you ever tried auto follow on Twitter using real phones instead of a browser?
In this guide, I’ll show you a safer, scalable, zero-code method that runs 24/7. It handles bulk work automatically and doesn’t need your computer on. Let’s get started.
Bulk Twitter Auto Follow on Cloud Phones
So we’ve talked about “bulk.” The first step is fixing multi-account security. Your first idea might be to buy a box of second-hand phones. That’s a common strategy, but in practice it quickly becomes a nightmare.
- Cost: Even used phones are not cheap. Now multiply the price by 100 or even 1,000 accounts. The hardware bill alone turns into a massive upfront investment.
- Labor: Every new phone needs a factory reset, setup, and app installs. Managing ten phones is already a headache. Managing hundreds becomes a logistical black hole. If you can’t script the setup yourself, you’ll need to hire someone. That’s another major expense.
- Network: How will you handle IPs? On a single Wi-Fi network, you might run only 5–6 Twitter accounts before they get flagged. For 1,000 accounts, you would need to configure and manage hundreds of proxies across hundreds of devices. Picture the manual effort, the spreadsheets, and the inevitable mistakes.
- How to Automate: Most browser scripts don’t work on mobile. So how do you make each phone automatically follow a specific list of Twitter accounts? This is where most people get stuck.
It seems impossible, right? End of article.
Just kidding. These are exactly the problems GeeLark Cloud Phones were built to solve.
Security
A cloud phone is not an Android emulator. It’s a real Android environment that lives in the cloud.
Each cloud phone profile is fully isolated and has a unique digital fingerprint, including its own device ID and hardware information. To Twitter, it looks like a brand-new, legitimate mobile device every time.

And if an account gets banned—because that can happen on any device—you don’t lose hardware. With GeeLark, you can reset the entire cloud phone with one click. In seconds, you have a fresh, clean Android device.

Network
After isolation, your accounts still need to look like they log in from different places.
GeeLark includes a built-in proxy manager that makes this easy. It supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 proxies, both static and rotating. Instead of tapping through ten steps on a physical phone, you can import proxies and assign IPs to cloud phones in bulk. The cloud phone uses that proxy for its network. It’s a one-click setup that saves hours and reduces human error.

App Install
With the environment ready, install the X (Twitter) app the fast way. You don’t need to open Google Play on every device.
Open the Applications tab, search for “twitter,” and click Install to add it to your team’s library. Then switch Enable on. The next time you launch a cloud phone, GeeLark will install X (Twitter) automatically—no manual downloads needed.

How to Auto Follow on Twitter
Great, your cloud phones are set up. Now let’s automate your Twitter accounts.
Then open the Automation tab. In the Marketplace, filter for X (Twitter). You’ll see a library of automation templates from GeeLark and the community.

Think of a template as a ready-to-use script that runs on your cloud phone. You can build your own with the RPA editor, but for now we’ll use a prebuilt one. Using a template is simple. In most cases, you only choose three things:
- Which Twitter account will run the task?
- When should it start?
- Which accounts do you want to follow?
Step 1: Find the Template and Create a Task
First, find the template named “Search for the account ID on X and follow it”. This template was created and shared by helpful GeeLark community members. Then select “Create a regular task” to open the setup screen.

Step 2: Configure Your Follow Task
On the task details page, fill in a few simple fields:
- Plan name & Remark: Give your task a name and a note so you can remember what it’s for.
- Cloud phone profiles: Select the profiles that will run this task. Use the ones already signed in to X (Twitter).
- PubDate: Choose when the automation should run. Spread actions across the day for each account instead of following hundreds at once; this looks more natural to the algorithm.
- AccountID: This is where you paste the list of X account IDs you want to follow.
Now you can get creative. You can set up different profiles to follow different accounts at different times. It’s a lot smarter than a basic “Twitter follower” tool, right?
When you’re done, click “Confirm publication“.

Step 3: Let GeeLark Do the Work
Here’s the best part. After you publish the task, you can step away. Work on something else, close your laptop, or go to sleep.
The automation runs in the cloud around the clock. Your computer doesn’t need to be on. When you check back later or the next morning, open the task logs to see exactly what ran and when. You’ve just automated your growth without lifting another finger.
